VIVE LATINO

Vive Latino is an annual rock festival held in Mexico City. It is one of the most important rock in Spanish festivals in Latin America. The event takes place in Foro Sol, a huge place that allows thousand of people to get in there. It takes place between the months of April and May.

The duration of the festival depends of the number of the bands that are going to attend. It can vary from one or two days. The kind of music that the bands perform are such as rock, punk, metal, ska and indie so people can listen their favourite music and have a great time in there.

There are three different stages: red, green and blue. The red is the principal one, and there is where the best bands perform, then the green and blue are for bands less known or less famous.

The place is very clogged, more than 250 thousand people are attending, even though you have the opportunity to get in the first line and see your favourite band like one meter away from you!

The most popular bands are Zoe, Cafe Tacuba, Division Minuscula, Fobia, Molotov, El Tri, Porter, Austin TV and more... They are Mexican bands and every year there is one guest, we don’t know yet which band is going to be this year but the last year was “The Magic Numbers” so we hope this year they give us a good SURPRISE and present a good band!
